A sudden accident left her physically hurt and impacted her marriage with architect Bobby Mukherjee, leading to their separation. During her emotional struggle, Ajay Devgn and Kajol helped boost her confidence. They later cast her in their first film as producers.
The actress shared that Ajay Devgn and Kajol, who were her producers at the time, made sure that her personal struggles stayed private, as it could have harmed her career. Since she and her mother were new to Mumbai, Ajay arranged for her to see top doctors in the city, and his manager was always there to assist them. Unlike other producers, who pressured her for updates, Ajay never rushed her recovery.
