Kangana Ranaut recently attended the screening of Vikrant Massey starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report‘ with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday evening.
While the actress was seen praising the movie and even recommending paparazzi to watch it, there was a time when the actress once called Vikrant a ‘cockroach’. Yes, you read that right!
In 2021, Yami had shared a picture from her pre-wedding ceremony in which she wore an all-red ensemble, the traditional bangles and kaleeras. Taking to the comments section, Vikrant joked, “Pure & Pious like Radhe Maa!”
Responding to his comment, Kangana wrote, “Kahan se nikla ye cockroach..lao meri chappal. (From where did this cockroach come. Someone get my slipper),” Kangana.
The duo’s remarks sparked a divided reaction among fans. Some supported Kangana, criticizing Vikrant for the comparison, while others defended the actor, offering their support.
Kangana showered praise on fellow Himachali actor Yami, commenting on many of her posts. One of her remarks read, “Himachali bride is the most gorgeous, looks divine like a Devi…” Kangana also shared a picture on her Instagram Stories, calling Yami “older than tradition and time,” and emphasized how nothing was more divine than a raw mountain girl turned bride. Both actresses hail from Himachal Pradesh, with Kangana raised in Manali and Yami born in Bilaspur.
