The second phase of Lok Sabha polls has started and early trends show a mixed response so far.But reports of disturbances have emerged from West Bengal

Out of the 88 constituencies hitting the elections this time in 13 states, Balurghat, Darjeeling and Raiganj from West Bengal are voting in this round. There have been reports of some complaints over the EVM machine in Darjeeling.

In  Balughat however, BJP has alleged that voters have been threatened by TMC members  and the Yuva Morcha has lodged a complaint against the miscreants.  State BJP chief Sukanto Mazumdar who is in the fray in Balurghat voted with family early morning.

In Balurghat, BJP supporters have raised concerns over voters being bribed by TMC.  In both Balurghat and Raiganj, TMC supporters have cried foul against central voters crying foul over voters not being allowed o cast their vote.
