Mumbai: Mohd Ali Road resident and trustee of Juma Masjid Shuaib Khatib has demanded extra security in Muslim-majority areas on Holi. Since this is the holy month of Ramzan, Muslim areas are crowded with residents engaged in prayers or attending iftar dinners at crowded localities. In a letter to the commissioner of police, Khatib has said extra security arrangements be made during Holi, especially Holi night, in these areas to prevent “mischievous activities”. —Mohammed Wajihuddin
