NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court on Thursday granted a two-week interim bail to expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar on medical grounds.
The court directed that Sengar be admitted to AIIMS in New Delhi for a medical evaluation.
Additionally, the court instructed the hospital’s Medical Superintendent to provide an assessment of whether his treatment could be effectively managed at AIIMS.
Sengar, who is accused in multiple cases, is reportedly suffering from diabetes, cataracts, retinal issues, and other health conditions, which formed the basis of his plea for bail.
