Learned counsel for the respondent raises a point of
maintainability of this appeal. Since it is an appeal from an order in
exercise of jurisdiction of the learned Arbitrator under Section 17 of the
Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the appeal under Section 37(2)
lies before the court defined in Section 2(1)(e) of the said Act, it is
submitted.
At this stage, we do not admit the appeal.
On the prayer of learned counsel for the appellant that her Senior
would argue this matter, this appeal and the stay application are adjourned
till 22nd August, 2025.
