About STAC:

The Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee (ACLSC) hosts the 11th edition of STAC – Trial Advocacy & Judgment Writing Competition.

  • Dates: 5th – 7th March, 2026
  • Mode: Offline, at CHRIST University Central Campus, Bengaluru
  • Eligibility: Open to all students pursuing 3-year or 5-year law degree courses recognized by the Bar Council of India

STAC is a prestigious event that promotes trial culture and criminal litigation. It provides participants with a unique courtroom experience, honing research skills, advocacy, and judgment writing. Eminent judges and senior advocates of the Karnataka High Court will preside over the competition.


Registration Details:

  • Slots: Limited to 30 teams (first-come, first-served basis)
  • Provisional Registration: Email to criminallaw.committee@law.christuniversity.in
  • Deadlines:
    • Provisional Registration: 10th February 2026
    • Final Registration: 25th February 2026
  • Fee: ₹4,500 + 18% GST
  • Note: Only one team per institution is permitted.
