New Delhi: A bizarre incident occurred when two friends, engaged in a playful scuffle, accidentally fell from a window, resulting in the tragic death of one of them. Police received information at 1:10am on Monday. The caller informed police that two boys fell from the roof of a building. The cops immediately rushed to the scene and began a thorough investigation, gathering information from locals.
It soon became clear that the two victims were students residing in a paying guest accommodation on the fourth floor of the building. Ishaan, a resident of Bharatpur, and Harsh, from Palam Colony, were pursuing their studies at DTU College and BPIT College, respectively.
According to police, the two boys were friends and were playfully wrestling with each other when they lost their balance and fell from the window. A team from Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) visited the spot and concluded that the fall was accidental.
The police examined other witnesses, who corroborated the account of the friendly scuffle gone wrong. A post-mortem examination was conducted, and no suspicious circumstances were found. The inquest proceedings are currently underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
