The Board of Directors of Thermax has approved the appointment of Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP as the Statutory Auditors of the Company, for the first term of five years commencing from the conclusion of the 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company till the conclusion of the 49th AGM of the Company, according to the Company’s exchange filing.
Price Waterhouse Chartered is set to replace Statutory Auditors, SRBC & Co. LLP, whose term shall expire after the ensuing 44th AGM of the Company.
The firm is a firm of Chartered Accountants registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has nine branch offices.
The appointment was based on the recommendation(s) of the Audit Committee and subject to the approval of the shareholders.
