Mr. Debdut Mukherjee, learned Advocate, is appearing for the

plaintiff.

2. Mr. Shiv Shankar Banerjee, learned Advocate, is appearing for the

defendant.

3. Counsel for the defendant submits that initially, the suit was filed in

the non-commercial division but as the dispute between the parties is

commercial in nature, the suit has been transferred to this Court from

the non-commercial division.

4. After transfer of the suit to this Court, the plaintiff has complied with

the provisions of the Commercial Courts Act.

5. Counsel for the defendant prays for a week’s time to comply with the

provisions of the Commercial Courts Act.

6. Considering the submission made by the counsel for the defendant,

for the interest of justice, the defendant is granted one week time to

comply with the provisions of the Commercial Courts Act.

7. It is found that the defendant has already filed written statement.

Accordingly, the parties are directed to complete discovery and

inspection of documents within four weeks. Affidavit of admission and

denial of documents be filed within two weeks thereafter. In the

meantime, the parties are also directed to exchange their suggested

issues.

8. List the matter on 19th June, 2025 for framing of issues.
