Prince Singhal, organiser of the event and founder of CADD, said, “Spreading awareness about road safety and the need to prevent drunk driving accidents is the need of the hour, especially in the wake of so many tragedies. I am grateful that so many well-known celebrities, lawmakers, policymakers, bureaucrats, and corporate stakeholders joined in to pledge their support for the cause, further becoming a catalyst to address the issue of safer roads. Especially after the PIL (Public Interest Litigation) filed by us in the Supreme Court to have mandatory age verification at alcohol points of sale to check underage drinking and driving.”
