The PSI., of S.G.Palya Police station, Bangalore has
filed charge sheet against the accused for the offence
punishable U/Sec.20(B)(ii)(b) of N.D.P.S. Act.
2. The case of the prosecution in nutshell is as
under:-

On 10.7.2021 at 5.00 am., when the PSI., was in the
police station, had received a credible information that a
rowdy sheeter by name Mubarak has illegally kept ganja in
his house situated at 3rd main, C cross, Bismillanagar,
Bengaluru. He immediately noted the said information in the
Station House Diary, informed the said information to his
superior officer and obtained permission from him, secured
two mahazar witnesses, along with his staff and mahazar
witnesses he had been to the house of the accused,
conducted raid on the said house and seized 1 Kg., 500
grams of ganja under seizure mahazar. After returning to the
police station he prepared a report and submitted to Station
House officer of Suddaguntepalya PS., the Station House
officer on the basis of the said report registered a case
against the accused in Cr.No.139/2021 for the offences
punishable U/s.20(B)(ii)(b) of NDPS Act, followed arrest
procedure against the accused and produced him before the
Court for further action.
