1. Heard Mr. N. N. B. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also
heard Ms. N. Kakati, learned counsel appearing for the NCB.

2. The learned counsel for both the sides have also submitted their
written gist of arguments.

3. This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the

petitioner, namely, Kamal Kanta Ray for grant of bail. He has been detained
behind the bars since 24.06.2023 (for more than 1 year 9 months) in connection
with NDPS Case No. 43/2023 under Section 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)
(C)/29/35/54 of the NDPS Act, 1985 corresponding to NCB Crime No. 10/2023.
