Shri Harpreet Singh Ruprah, learned Additional Advocate General,
submits that there is an alternative remedy of revision provided under
Section 62 of the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, and the Rules made
thereunder specifically in this regard against the impugned action of
suspension, but instead of relegating the petitioners to avail the said statutory

remedy of revision, with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties,
the matter is heard finally.

2. This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed
by the petitioners challenging the order dated 04.02.2026 (Annexure P-8),
whereby the licences of the petitioners were suspended.
