Smt Salma Taz vs Syed Yaseen on 21 July, 2025

Acting under Section 255(2) of Cr.P.C.,
accused is held guilty and convicted for the
offence punishable under Section 138 of
Negotiable Instruments Act.

Accused is sentenced to pay a fine of
₹12,50,000/-. In default to pay fine, he shall
undergo simple imprisonment for a period of
eight months.

Out of the realized fine amount, a sum of
₹12,40,000/- is ordered to be paid to the
complainant as compensation and the
remaining sum of ₹10,000/- shall be remitted
to State.

Bail bonds executed by accused shall
stands cancelled.

Office to supply a free copy of this judgment
to accused.
