The Sub inspector of Police of Siddapura
Police Station has submitted charge sheet against
accused No.8 for the offences punishable u/s 143, 144,
147, 148, 120(B), 307 r/w 149 of IPC in Cr.No.231/2013
before the 2nd ACMM, Bengaluru.

2. The brief facts of the prosecution case are as
follows:
That, on 9.9.2013 at 8.30 p.m., there was a clash
between Cw.1/Abhi @ Abhinaya, Cw.12 to Cw.16 and
accused No.1 to 7 near Lalbagh Siddapura Lake when
they assembled for Ganesha Idol Immersion, out of the
said ill-will, in order to take revenge, accused conspired
to commit murder of Cw.1/Abhi @ Abhinaya, in order to
execute their said conspiracy, on 9.9.2013, accused
formed an unlawful assembly, armed with deadly
weapons, in furtherance of common object in order to
commit murder of Cw.1/Abhi @ Abhinay at 11.15 p.m.,
near BBMP. Park, 9th Main Road, 2nd Block, Jayanagar,
accused No.8 wrongfully restrained Cw.1/Abhi @
Abhinaya by keeping his Scorpio Car across the car of
Cw.1, in which Cw.1 and his friends were traveling, as
soon as Cw.1 got down from his car, all the accused

surrounded Cw.1, accused No.2 made an attempt to
cause assault on the head of Cw.1 by an iron long,
when Cw.1 hold his hands to protect himself, accused
No.2 assaulted on his left hand index finger and caused
injury, assaulted with an iron knife on the left buttock of
Cw.1 and caused injury, thereafter accused No.3
assaulted on the left side of the head of Cw.1 by using
an iron rod, accused No.4 and 7 assaulted on the body
of Cw.1 by using wooden club, accused No.5 assaulted
Cw.1 on his right index finger by using iron sickle and
thereby all the accused have committed an offence of
attempt to murder of Cw.1/Abhi @ Abhinaya. Accused
No.6 and accused No.8 to 16 were present on the spot
and assisted in order to fulfill the aforesaid object of
unlawful assembly and they supported rest of the
accused to commit murder of Cw.1/Abhi @ Abhinaya, by
not allowing anybody to prevent from commission of said

offences. On the basis of first information lodged by
Cw.1/Abhi @ Abhinay S/o Muninanjappa, this case was
registered in the Siddapura Police Station, Bengaluru
against accused No.1 to 16 in Cr.No.231/2013 for the
offences punishable U/s.143, 144, 147, 148, 120(B) and
307 r/w Section 149 of I.P.C.
