Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir, known for her captivating performances in the 90s, debuted with Sunil Dutt’s Yeh Aag Kab Bujhegi. She later collaborated with Rajinikanth in the South. In an interview, Sheeba revealed that Sunil Dutt was upset when she signed a movie with Rajinikanth, expressing his concerns candidly.
Sheeba told Bollywood Bubble that after working on Yeh Aag Kab Bujhegi, she signed Athisaya Piravi with Rajinikanth. This decision upset Sunil Dutt, as he preferred her not to work on another movie simultaneously. He wanted his film to release first, fearing overlapping projects might impact its reception.
The actress also fondly recalled Rajinikanth’s immense fan following during her time shooting for Athisaya Piravi. Despite starting the film a year after Yeh Aag Kab Bujhegi, she was amazed by the devotion Rajinikanth received. Fans would gather early morning, bringing massive rose garlands weighing hundreds of kilos and showing deep respect by prostrating before him.
She admired Rajinikanth’s humility despite his stardom, attributing it to South Indian culture’s down-to-earth nature. She shared how supportive he was during filming, especially with Tamil dialogues. If she struggled with complex words, he suggested replacing them with English, easing her process and showcasing his considerate nature as a co-star.
On the work front, Sheeba Agarwal recently appeared in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Her scene with veteran actor Dharmendra garnered significant attention, becoming one of the highlights of the film and sparking conversations about her performance and their on-screen chemistry.
