About the Job
Flex is hiring a Senior Subject Matter Expert – Legal Operations (AI & Transformation) to support its global legal function. The role focuses on driving adoption of AI and automation to enhance legal service delivery, improve efficiency, and optimize legal workflows.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university (LL.B. preferred but not mandatory)
- 2–4 years in legal technology, legal operations, contract management, or similar roles
- Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and legal tech applications
- Experience with AI tools, automation workflows, and legal operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complex, high-volume workstreams
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with legal tech tools
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives (preferred)
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and prompt engineering (preferred)
- Ability to work in a global, cross-cultural environment
- Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable to evolving technologies
Responsibilities
- Drive adoption and scaling of AI tools across legal functions
- Design and optimize legal workflows using automation tools and AI
- Work with platforms like Harvey, Lexis AI, and Microsoft Copilot
- Identify use cases for AI and implement scalable solutions
- Monitor efficiency, cost savings, and risk mitigation from AI implementations
- Develop SOPs, playbooks, and training materials
- Manage legal tech tools, vendors, and data systems
- Generate reports, dashboards, and insights for decision-making
- Collaborate with global teams across regions
