About the Opportunity
Solomon & Co., Advocates & Solicitors is looking to expand its team in the areas of ‘Litigation & Arbitration’ and ‘Real Estate’.
Position
We invite applications for the following positions:
- Senior Associate | PQE: 5+ yrs | Litigation & Arbitration
- Associate | PQE: 2+ yrs | Litigation & Arbitration
- Associate | PQE: 2+ yrs | Real Estate
Eligibility Criteria
Senior Associate (Litigation and Arbitration team):
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in civil/ commercial litigation & arbitration before courts & tribunals (NCLT) in/ around Mumbai
- Registration with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa
- Skilled in drafting pleadings, managing proceedings, and handling court/ arbitration filings
Associate (Litigation and Arbitration team):
- More than 2 years of relevant experience in civil/ commercial litigation & arbitration before courts & tribunals (NCLT) in/ around Mumbai
- Registration with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa
- Skilled in drafting pleadings, managing proceedings, and handling court/ arbitration filings
Associates (Real Estate team):
- More than 2 years of experience in conducting title due diligence across India, with knowledge of relevant local laws
- Proficiency in Marathi & handling property transactions, including interpreting revenue records such as 7/12 extracts & property cards, and drafting sale, lease, and license agreements
- Strong understanding of RERA, DCR, town planning, and local property development regulations
