1. Considering that the main allegation of committing

mis-appropriation is against Mr. Rajnish Kumar Mittal, who

was Mayor of the Municipal Corporation, Nabha, at the

Reason: Mittal has already been released on anticipatory bail by

this Court in Special Leave Petition (Crl.) No.16965/2024,

we are inclined to make absolute the interim order dated
13.06.2025.

2. Accordingly, it is directed that in the event of

arrest, in connection with FIR No.32 dated 18.07.2024

registered at police station Vigilance Bureau, District

Patiala, under Sections 420, 406, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120B

of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 13(1)(a) and 13(2)

of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, the concerned

Investigation Officer/Trial Court shall release the

petitioner on bail on such terms and conditions as may be

found appropriate by the Trial Court.

3. Accordingly, the Special Leave Petition is disposed

of.

4. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed

of.
