About the Journal
RV Law Journal of MKPM RV Institute of Legal Studies provides a vibrant academic platform for expressing original ideas, critical interpretations and innovative perspectives on contemporary legal issues. The Journal seeks to promote rigorous legal scholarship by professionals, academicians, researchers and students, ensuring that quality research and scholarly contributions are preserved for posterity.
RV Law Journal is a blind peer-reviewed, bi-annual journal with ISSN, committed to maintaining high academic and ethical standards. The Journal encourages submissions that contribute meaningfully to legal discourse with relevance to India, including doctrinal, empirical, comparative and interdisciplinary research.
The Editorial Board invites Research Papers, Articles, Case Comments and Book Reviews for forthcoming issues of the Journal. There is no restriction on the choice of topic, provided the manuscript involves substantive legal analysis and is relevant to the Indian legal system. Submissions must be original, unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere.
Submission Categories
Word Limit (excluding footnotes):
- Long Research Paper / Long Article: 5000 – 10000 words
- Short Article: 2500 – 3000 words
- Case Comment: 2000 – 2500 words
- Book Review: 2000 – 2500 words
Formatting & Citation Guidelines
- The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- Main text: Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing.
- Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10-point font, single line spacing.
- Citation style: OSCOLA
How to Submit?
Authors are required to submit the soft copy of the manuscript to: rvlawjournal.mkpmrvils@rvei.edu.in. The submission must be accompanied by a covering letter containing the following details:
- Title of the Paper
- Category (Research Paper / Article / Case Comment / Book Review)
- Name of the Author(s)
- Designation and Institutional Affiliation
