While it’s the fastest Rs 1000 crore film in its worldwide collection, it is expected to touch Rs 1000 crore in India by the end of Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the numbers.

Will Pushpa 2 Break Baahubali 2’s Record?
On its second weekend, it left everyone shocked as it collected Rs 100 crore just in Hindi as a total of the Saturday and Sunday numbers. On Sunday, the total number in all languages was Rs 76.6 crore. But on day 12, which is Monday, it saw a huge drop of around Rs 63 percent according to Sacnilk. It made Rs 27.75 crore in all languages. The film’s total collection thus now stands at Rs 930.87 crore. If this performance continues even on Tuesday, it is about to touch Rs 1000 crore in India, till Thursday or Friday. In case of jump in numbers, that may happen even sooner.
‘Pushpa 2’ has already crossed the lifetime collection of ‘Stree 2’ by a huge margin. The collection of ‘Stree 2’ in India was Rs 597 crore. The total collection of ‘Jawan’ was Rs 733 crore in all languages. Thus, the Allu Arjun starrer has already beaten these two movies. However, now we shall see if it breaks the record of ‘Baahubali 2‘ which was Rs 1030 crore in India. However, the numbers of this Prabhas starrer were in the pre-pandemic era. In the post pandemic era, the numbers of ‘Pushpa 2’ are just unthinkable.
It is expected that the upcoming holiday period from Christmas to the New Year’s will further give a huge push to the film.
