Shri Shashank Shrivastav, learned counsel for the respondent appeared
through V.C.
This petition is filed against the illegal action of respondents, whereby
without serving any notice or without passing any order and also without
giving any opportunity of hearing, the property of the petitioner situated at
579, 579, 579-3, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Indore has been sealed by them.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have
sealed the property in question without servicing any demand notice or
without prior intimation. Hence, it is prayed that the respondents be directed
to reopen the sealed property in question which has been sealed by the
respondents on 28.02.2026.
Learned counsel for the respondent opposes the prayer and submits
that the petitioner may be directed to deposit certain amount against the tax
liability before the respondents.
In response, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for time to seek
instructions with regard to depositing the amount as tax liability. He also
submits that he be informed first regarding tax liability levied against him.
Considering the same, the respondents are directed to prepare a
detailed chart with respect to the tax liability to be paid by the petitioner.

As an interim measure, the respondents are directed to reopen the
property of the petitioner which has been sealed by them on 28.02.2026 and
there shall be no coercive action against the petitioner till the next date of
hearing.
List the matter on 05.03.2026.
