for the respondent-State.
3. The appellant has been convicted by the Trial
Court for the offences punishable under Section
3 and 4 of the Protection of Children from
Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (for short, ‘POCSO
Act’) and has been sentenced to undergo rigorous
imprisonment for life.
