Magar Itni booming E-commerce industry me bhi hamari government ko ONDC ke zariye interfere kyon karna pada?

Iske liye hame 5-6 saal piche jaana hoga,  2016-17 me India me massive E-commerce boom aaya. Jisme online delivery apps jaise zomato,swiggy,amazon ki demand tezzi se badi. 

Iske chalte  Alag Alag sectors jaise food, groceries and travel me bade-bade market leaders bane.

Food Deliveries me Zomato aur Swiggy 2 bade players banakar saamne aaye.

Dekhte hi dekhte brands itne bade ban gaye ki new players ke liye enter hone ki space hi nahi bachi.

In dono ne hi almost saara market share le liya. 

Toh poori market ki supply control karne ke power ab sirf in 2 brands ke paas aagyi. 

Itni brand authority hone ke chalte  in brands ne socha kyon na restraunts se samaan kam daam par le,un par  bhaari  commission charge karke customers ko sell kare. 

Pichle 3-4 saalo se yeh hona shuru ho gya.

Lack of choice ke wajah se people had to pay for these services at much higher price 

This way, they started exploiting both the sellers and the buyers of these platforms

To curb this, Government ne December 2021 me ONDC banaya.

Gov claims that ye network se jo high margin, high-value products ki exploitation practices chal rhi hai use curb karne me help karega 

It is being done with the objective of bringing more competition, fair pricing, and better consumer pricing for the booming E-commerce Market.

Par Kya  Zomato ya Swiggy jaise ONDC bhi future me hame paise charge karke exploit karegi?

In an Interview given to Zee Business, the MD and CEO of ONDC Mr.T Koshi stated

 “We are only a network, the platforms like Zomato, Amazon will decide what they want to charge. Ham ek non-profit company hai, we only have to maintain operating costs. Presently it’s free, but in long term ham nominal charge karenge self -sustain karne ke liye” 

But abhi bhi ek bada challenge jo ONDC face kar rhi hai vo hai hamari 140cr logo ko is network ke baare me aware karwaane ka 

For solving this, the platform is offering discounts coupons taaki naye customer unke is open network ko use karien.

Kya ye shuruaat me discount dene ke chalte government ka paisa ya phir indirectly Tax payers ka paisa toh nahi use ho rha? 

Iska Ans hai nahi.

ONDC’s own funds essentially comprise the Rs 180 crore that was raised from 19 different  banks and financial institutions. Bade banks jaise Punjab National Bank,  Axis Bank and yaha tak ki BSE and NSE me bhi isme invest kiya.

Overall kaha jaaye toh ONDC E-commerce products and services ka UPI hai, kisi se bhi platform se online purchase karo, kisi ko bhi platform ko online sell karo based on your criteria. 

Like a Physical market in real-time.

As per McKinsey & Company, by 2023 ONDC has the potential to increase digital consumption in India by $340 billion.

Toh next 2-3 saal tak online delivery apps mw kaafi transparency and fair pricing dikhegi jiska ultimate benefit ham sabko hoga.
