1. Instant First Appeal From Order has been preferred on behalf of the defendant-appellant against the Award dated 19.12.2009 passed by Workmen’s Compensation Commiossioner in W.C.A No. 51 of 2007 (Smt. Beena and others v. Smt. Prakashi Devi and others).

2. Both the parties to the instant First Appeal From Orders (F.A.F.O.) have arrived at compromise and settled the issue involved in the present appeal on their own volition without any duress and coercion under the following terms and conditions:-

i) By interim order dated 09.03.2010, 50% of the awarded amount was released to the claimants and remaining 50% was invested in fixed deposit of nationalised bank. Out of the deposited amount, as per present value, appellant/ Insurance Company shall be entitled for Rs.50,000/- only and remaining amount of the FDR along with accrued interest shall be released/paid to the claimants-respondents.
