The Criminal Petition under Sections 480 and 483 of Bharatiya

Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2024 (for short ‘BNSS’) has been filed by the

Petitioner/Accused No.4, seeking regular bail in Cr.No.1039 of 2023 of

Patamata Police Station, NTR District, registered for the offences

punishable under Sections 306, 420 and 120(B) read with 34 of IPC.

2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that on 12.11.2023 at 3.30

hours, at 5th floor, Vallabhaneni Towers, Patamata, Vijayawada, in which

one Durapareddy Pavan Prasanth (deceased), resident of Ramalingeswara

Nagar, Patamata, Vijayawada, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling

fan with the aid of chunny having vexed with his life when the business

partners Adella Venkata Reddy and others cheated him to a tune of Rs.13

crores. Initially, the crime was registered for the offence under Section 174

Cr.P.C. Subsequently, it was altered to Sections 306, 420 and 120(B) read

with 34 of IPC against accused Nos.1 to 4.
