The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting online applications for the position of Young Professionals (YP) for its New Delhi Headquarters. According to the notice released today on December 14, 2024, a total of twenty (20) positions will be filled. In order to apply, candidates are required to fill the online application form available at nta.ac.in and submit latest by December 31, 2024.
NTA Young Professional 2024: Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc. (Computer Science), MCA, MBA, LLB, or LLM with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade from a government-recognized institute or university. A minimum of two years of post-qualification work experience is desirable, preferably in government, state government, CPSEs, autonomous bodies, universities, or research institutions. However, periods spent on Ph.D., research, fellowship, or internships will not be counted as work experience.
NTA Young Professional 2024: Age Limit
Applicants must not exceed 40 years of age as of the closing date for applications.
NTA Young Professional 2024: Consolidated Monthly Remuneration
The monthly remuneration for the position is ₹60,000, subject to statutory deductions.
NTA Young Professional 2024: Terms of Engagement
The position is strictly on a contractual basis. The Young Professional (YP) will not be considered a staff member or official of the NTA. Therefore, the contractual agreement will not establish an employer-employee or principal-agent relationship between NTA and the individual YP. The position is based at the NTA Headquarters in New Delhi. However, NTA reserves the right to post YPs to any of its regional offices if required.
NTA Young Professional 2024: Working Hours
The working hours are typically from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday, including a half-hour lunch break, based on biometric attendance. In case of work exigencies, the YP may be required to work late and may also be called upon on Sundays and holidays.
NTA Young Professional 2024: Leave Policy
Young Professionals are entitled to 18 days of casual leave per calendar year, calculated on a pro-rata basis of 1.5 days per month. Leave can be availed with prior written approval from the controlling officer. Any unutilized leave cannot be carried forward to the next calendar year.
