Bengaluru: Traffic police have developed ASTraM app, a one-stop solution for commuters. Launched by home minister G Parameshwara, it makes commuters an active part of the city’s traffic management ecosystem, ensuring greater participation and accountability. The features include real-time traffic updates, reporting accidents, violations and payment of traffic fines.
A traffic police museum and experience centre was inaugurated at the traffic management centre, Infantry Road, which showcases the history and evolution of traffic management in the city. It includes vintage traffic equipment and uniforms, historic photographs and documents and interactive displays on traffic safety and rules.
