Samvardhana Motherson International has informed the stock exchange of a mediation settlement involving its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, SMR Hyosang Automotive (South Korea) with its sub contractor.
On April 6, 2026, SMR Hyosang signed an agreement with a subcontractor, facilitated by the Subcontracting Dispute Mediation Committee (SDMC) of Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency.
SMR Hyosang commits to paying KRW 360 million (approx. INR 22.18 million, excluding VAT) by April 27, 2026, resolving all subcontracting claims.
“There is no material impact on financial or on operations or other activities of SMR Hyosang and/or the Company,” noted Motherson in its exchange filing.
The disclosure complies with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
