This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS, 2023’) seeking
quashment of the proceedings against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 4
in C.C.No.15172 of 2024 on the file of the XIII Additional Chief
Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad.
2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 4 in the Calendar
Case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and
506 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. Heard Mr.Syed Ahmed Ali, learned counsel for the petitioners,
Mr.Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor,
representing the respondent No.1-State and Mr.Mohammed Nadeem,
