1. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the

SPONSORED

respondents/contemnors have failed to comply with the judgment

dated 23.08.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 1881/2024,

read with order dated 23.02.2026 passed in the instant contempt

petition. It is further submitted that the Deputy Commissioner,

Srinagar, who was directed vide order dated 23.02.2026 to take

appropriate action on the pending application, as endorsed by the

respondents in accordance with law, has failed to do so and is

required to be arrayed as a contemnor in the present petition.

2. It is apparent from the perusal of the record of this petition that

whatever was directed to be done by the respondents/contemnors as

per the aforesaid judgment/order is otherwise needed to be done by

them being their statutory obligation.

3. The respondents/contemnors, as well as the Deputy Commissioner,

Srinagar, are again directed to comply with the aforesaid

judgment/order and to file a compliance report, failing which,
appropriate orders warranted under law shall be passed in the

matter.

4. List on 1st April, 2026.

5. Let copies of this order be forwarded to the respondents/contemnors

as well as the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, for compliance.
