Ahmedabad: The minimum temperature on Sunday was 13.2 degrees celsius, which was slightly down from 13.8 degrees on Saturday. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), it was 1.2 degrees lower than normal. The maximum temperature was also 0.5 degrees lower than normal at 30.8 degrees.
According to the IMD forecast, the minimum temperature is likely to drop further to around 11 degrees on Monday, signifying some of the lowest temperatures this winter so far for the city. “Fall in minimum temperatures by 2-3 degrees celsius during the next two days. Thereafter, no large change is very likely over the region,” mentioned the forecast.
At 10.8 degrees, Naliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Gujarat on Sunday, whereas Rajkot recorded the highest maximum temperature at 32 degrees.
