Ahmedabad: The minimum temperature on Thursday was 13°C in the city, 0.2 degrees lower than normal. According to the India meteorological department (IMD) forecast, the minimum temperature could be around 14°C on Friday.
The IMD forecast mentioned, “Northeasterly to easterly winds are prevailing at lower levels over the region. No large change in minimum temperatures.”
The maximum temperature at 27.3°C, 1.9 degrees lower than normal on Thursday.
Naliya in Kutch remained the coldest spot in the state with a minimum temperature of 7.8°C, followed Rajkot with 9.1°C and Deesa with 10.5°C. The IMD forecast mentioned the chances of a cold wave continuing in Rajkot on Friday. Overall, across the state, the minimum temperature remained around 10°C to 14°C.
