Madhya Pradesh women to receive 34th instalment of Ladli Behna Yojana today

Over 1.25 crore women in Madhya Pradesh are set to receive the 34th instalment of the Ladli Behna Yojana today. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer more than ₹1,836 crore directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

The Chief Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation for 54 development projects worth around ₹122 crore in Gwalior district during the Ladli Behna conference at Shabri Mata Mandir premises in Ghatiya.

These include the inauguration of 19 projects worth ₹62 crore and foundation laying for 35 projects totaling ₹60 crore.

Notable works include the new building of Sandipani Government Higher Secondary School, Kulaith (₹40 crore) and a high-level bridge over Sank River on Dada Khirk Tighra Road (₹9.11 crore), along with new roads in Gwalior city and rural areas, and a sub-health center at Banheri.

However, some women may not receive the instalment if their bank accounts are not linked with Aadhaar, DBT is not activated, or the accounts are inactive. Women above 60 years, households exceeding government income limits, families with a government employee, or those already receiving specific benefits from other schemes are also ineligible.

The state government has advised beneficiaries to check Aadhaar linking and DBT status with their bank or local offices if payments do not reflect. Officials added that technical issues may occasionally delay transfers, which can be corrected in the next installment.
