5. The present petition has been preferred by petitioners under Section
528 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 R/W section 482 of the
Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashment of criminal proceedings
arising out of FIR bearing Crime No.08/2025, registered at Police Station
Nowgaon, District Chhatarpur for the offence punishable under Sections
85, 115(2), 296, 351(2), 3(5) of BNS, 2023 and Section 3/4 of Dowry
Prohibition Act.
