About the Opportunity
White & Brief – Advocates and Solicitors is inviting applications for the position of Associate in the General Corporate Practice at our Mumbai office. The role is suited for candidates with strong experience in corporate transactions, legal due diligence, and transactional documentation, along with demonstrable exposure to real estate transactions.
Eligibility
- Strong drafting and transactional documentation capability
- Sound understanding of corporate and commercial transactions
- Experience in legal due diligence and risk identification
- Ability to critically evaluate documents and assess transactional risks
- Demonstrable experience in real estate transactions
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Responsibilities
- Advise on diverse non-litigation corporate and commercial matters
- Conduct and prepare legal due diligence reports, including corporate and property/title diligence
- Assist in structuring real estate transactions, including RERA, registration, and local law compliance
- Draft, review, and negotiate transactional and commercial documentation
- Support transaction structuring and execution
- Identify legal and transactional risks in corporate transactions
