Job Description

The Legal Counsel is a key role within our legal team. This role contributes to and executes strategies in the team / organization, helping identify and lead developments of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products. The role requires a focus on one or more brands, channels, lines, categories or team / organization with clearly defined objectives.

Eligibility

  • A law degree from an accredited law school.
  • Company Secretary (ICSI) qualification: preferred
  • A license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external influencing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and execute legal strategies for the team / organization.
  • Identify and lead developments of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products.
  • Work on one or more brands, channels, lines, categories or team / organization with clearly defined objectives.
  • Collaborate and network effectively within immediate team or work domain to maximize job impact and personal learning.
  • Accomplish tasks as an individual contributor or more direct supervision, training and development of entry level professionals and A&T/Band 1 employees.
