Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe was back training with the team on Wednesday ahead of the side’s crucial FIFA Club World Cup 2025 encounter against RB Salzburg at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
The 26-year-old Frenchman took part in the side’s latest training session after recovering from acute gastroenteritis that kept him on the sidelines for the Spanish giants’ clashes against Al Hilal and Pachuca.

Real stand atop Group H in the revamped edition of the tournament in North American soil with 4 points to their name in 2 outings, following a 1-1 stalemate against Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal and a 3-1 win over Mexican outfit Pachuca.
Al Hilal stand third with 2 points in as many games due to their twin-draws, while Pachuca remain bottom of the group ahead of the final gameweek of the group stage.
Gonzalo Garcia put Madrid in front in their opener against the Saudi Arabian side but the La Liga giants were pegged back by a Ruben Neves strike as Al Hilal went on to hold out for a point. Real, however, registered a win in their second assignment despite an early red card to Raul Asencio as Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler and Federico Valverde netted to render Elias Montiel’s goal for Pachuca a mere consolation.
Bellingham opened the scoring for his side in the 35th minute before Turkish starboy Guler doubled the Spanish Capital City side’s advantage. Valverde made it three to the good for Real Madrid before the Mexican outfit salvaged some pride through Montiel ten minutes from time.
Following the triumph, however, Englishman Bellingham aired his disappointment with the quality of the pitches used at the ongoing event while he touched upon the unforgiving nature of the playing conditions.
