KPCC General Secretary Aryadan Shaukat informed Nilambur that KPCC’s warning is being taken seriously.
KPCC has issued a warning to Aryadan Shaukat in connection with Aryadan Foundation’s Palestine Solidarity Rally in Malappuram in violation of the party ban.
Aryadan Shaukatin’s response to questions from media persons at his residence in Nilambur after the party action.
There is no change in the stand on the Palestine rally, he said that he was sad that he could not participate in the Palestine solidarity rally held by the Congress in Kozhikode due to the party ban, but if the Congress was a little late, he would have been very happy that the Palestine solidarity rally had been held.
Formed by former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy as Chairman, the Aryadan Foundation was never meant for sectarian activities.
If the party leadership has any doubts in this regard, the matter will be explained to the party leadership, he added, adding that Aryadan Foundation was formed in the name of his father and senior Congress leader Aryadan Muhammad for socio-cultural and charitable activities.
The aim of the Aryadan Foundation is to coordinate charitable activities in the district
He said that this has been started at Kuttipuram, and the things ahead of the foundation are the publication of the book containing Aryadan Muhammad’s speeches in the Legislative Assembly and the publication of the book containing the life history of Aryadan Muhammad.
When Aryadan pointed out the statement of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan that the action taken against Shaukam was wrong, he replied that he had no obligation to respond to it.
The Chief Minister and CPM may have their opinion in this regard and they can say it and he is not obliged to reply to it.
He reiterated that the party is big for him and therefore he is taking KPCCs seriously.
