The instant criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed by
the petitioners under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik
Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) seeking quashing of FIR No. 174/2023
registered at Police Station Sumerpur, District Pali, for offences
under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 196, 197, 406 and 120-B of
the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Learned Public Prosecutor has submitted a factual report
dated 12.02.2026, which is taken on record. As per the said
report, after thorough investigation in the matter, the police have
proposed to file a negative final report before the competent
Court.
This Court has considered the matter and, in view of the
aforesaid factual position, is not inclined to interfere in the matter.
Accordingly, the present miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
However, the petitioners shall be at liberty to raise all their
contentions before the competent Court at the appropriate stage.
All pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of.
