Ahmedabad: Four persons who appeared in an interview for a job at a company in Gandhinagar allegedly walked away with the company’s aluminium sheets worth Rs 72,600 in the evening of Dec 1. Sector 21 police have registered a case in this connection.
According to police, the four accused — Rakesh Thakor, Rahul R Thakor, Rahul K Thakor, and Sahilkumar Dantani — had come for a job interview at the company on Nov 28.
Gandhinagar police acted on a complaint filed by Bhavik Patel (40), a resident of Kolavada. Patel, in his complaint, stated that his firm was involved in making PCBs. On Nov 30, the copper-laminate aluminium sheets were cut into pieces, but later these sheets went missing.
The complainant stated that upon investigation, they found out that on the night of Dec 1, at around 2am, the four individuals walked away with the sheets.
Based on Patel’s complaint, police registered a case and began further investigation.
