Corporate Lawyer (Managing Associate – Kochi)
- Location: Kochi (Relocation assistance available)
- Experience: PQE of 1+ years
- Compensation: INR 5 LPA (including variable) + Medical cover
We are seeking a dynamic corporate lawyer to lead and grow our Kochi office in a managing-associate role. You will be the face of iCounsel in Kochi, managing client relationships, mentoring interns, driving business development, ensuring turnaround of deliverables in a timely manner and ensuring smooth office operations in close coordination with the leadership team.
Required candidate profile
- Law graduate (LL.B.) from a top-tier law school/institution.
- 1+ years PQE in corporate/commercial law with strong drafting, negotiation and client-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, confident in client-facing roles and presentations.
- Strong legal research skills and comfort working across diverse practice areas (Corporate, Commercial, IP, Employment, Real Estate, etc.).
- Skilled in MS Office tools and comfortable working with AI and legal tech platforms (e.g., Westlaw, Practical Law or similar).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership.

- Duration of the internship job [for example May 1, 2024-June 30, 2024]: We have openings round the year, currently 2 slots available for a block of 2 months.
- Main tasks: Assist in legal research, law firm management
- Timings: 9.30 am-6.30pm
- Stipend/salary [monthly]: Rs. 5,000/month
