Fahadh Faasil, known for his impressive performances in South Indian films, is set to make his Bollywood debut with an upcoming movie directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film will feature Triptii Dimri alongside Fahadh, marking an exciting collaboration. Imtiaz, who will also produce the film under his banner, is expected to start production in early 2025.
As per a report in Peeping Moon, Fahadh Faasil will make his Bollywood debut with this film, and he’s extremely excited to begin his journey in Hindi cinema with Imtiaz Ali, who is one of his favourite Bollywood directors.
The source further added that they’ve been discussing this project for months, and it was recently finalised contractually. Triptii’s pairing with him adds an exciting and unique dimension to this collaboration. Imtiaz is known for pushing boundaries in love stories, and this one promises to stand out in his repertoire.
Reports indicate that the filmmaker is currently adding the final touches to the script, with production scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2025. Fahadh will star opposite Triptii Dimri, who previously collaborated with Imtiaz on ‘Laila Majnu’.
Meanwhile, Fahadh is set to face off against Allu Arjun in the highly anticipated ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. At the pre-release event in Kochi, Allu took a moment to commend his co-stars, particularly praising Fahadh. He expressed, “For the first time in all my films, I have worked with one of the best Malayalam actors, our FaFa. I actually miss seeing him today. I really wish we both were standing here together in Kerala today. That would have been an iconic thing. My brother, thank you! I wish we were here together. I wish you all the best. I’m telling all the Keralites here, FaFa has rocked the show in Pushpa 2 and he will make every Mallu proud throughout the world.”
Triptii was last seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, where she starred alongside Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit.
On the other hand, Imtiaz Ali’s most recent directorial venture was ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra.
