About the Internship at Indian National Bar Association

The Indian National Bar Association (INBA) has launched an internship program with the objective of simplifying complex Indian laws and making legal knowledge accessible to the general public.

INBA believes that laws should be understood without excessive legal jargon, empowering citizens with awareness of their legal rights, duties, and remedies.

This internship serves as a platform for active student participation in legal awareness and public legal education through research-based legal writing.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will be required to research and explain Indian laws and legal provisions using contemporary references in the form of blog articles. These articles will function as free legal resources for laypersons, helping bridge the gap between law and society.

Each article must fall under one of the following categories:

  • Law Statutes: Bare Acts summarized in simple language
  • Socio-Legal/Current Affairs
  • Latest Amendments to Indian Laws
  • Redundant Laws that require reform or amendment
  • Contemporary Legal Issues
  • Legal News
  • Analysis and Explanation of Legal Provisions

Duration of Internship

1 Month

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Work: 6 Articles
  • Article Length: 600–700 words per article
  • Frequency: One article per week

All submissions must be original. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate termination of the internship.

Application Procedure

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Updated CV/Resume
  • Sample write-up (maximum 500 words) on any contemporary legal issue
  • Copy of Aadhar Card
  • College ID Card

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a telephonic interview, following which final selections will be made.
