Under the India AI Impact Summit 2026, National Law University, Delhi hosted a panel discussion on “Harnessing AI to Transform India’s Judicial Ecosystem” on 16 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam. The session was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, NLU Delhi, and expertly moderated by Dr. Aparajita Bhatt, Director, Centre for Cyber Laws, NLU Delhi.
The distinguished panelists included Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dinesh Maheshwari (Retd.) Chairman, Law Commission of India; Sh. Shardul Shroff, Founder & Executive Chairman, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas; Ms. Arya Tripathy, Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas; Sh. Rajnish Kumar, COO (Capacity Building & Finance), NeGD; and Mr. Vikas Mahendra, CEO, TERES, who emphasised the transformative potential of AI in enhancing judicial efficiency, transparency, and access to justice in India, along with its challenges and best practices.
