The Jan Suraksha Schemes allows financial inclusion to every citizen of India. We will explore the various schemes under Jan Suraksha and also understand how PM Modi changed India under his leadership during his tenure in this two-part series.
PM Narendra Modi recently took to his Twitter handle to congratulate all the beneficiaries of Jan Suraksha.
“The #JanSuraksha schemes launched 8 years ago have been a source of strong support for crores of Indians. They have provided an effective social security cover to the people. My best wishes to all the beneficiaries,” he tweeted.
The Jan Suraksha Yojna is among many schemes launched by the PM for the financial inclusion of the poor and backward classes. Furthermore, various infrastructure programs, like the Green Shipbuilding, promise to put India on a global scale.
PM Modi’s ideology can be summed up by the phrase he often uses, “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikash.” His unique perspectives and openness to new technology have encouraged budding entrepreneurs to participate in India-centric incentives like Make in India and other Start-up programs.
An article published on Daily Pioneer reads:
“PM Modi always talks about Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas—the ideology which defines the principles of the government, and its goal is to ensure that the benefits of government policies and programmes reach the citizens who are at the bottom of the development pyramid.”
The Modi government can also brag about the removal of Article 370, which has now opened the floodgates of progress and development in Kashmir. Investors are now pouring into the valley for various developmental projects.
In addition to several developmental projects: the Modi government must be given credit for the digitization of the economy. Be it Aadhar or Jan Dhan accounts, the Modi government has worked to strengthen the economy of India.
The Daily Pioneer article reads:
“One of the most celebrated aspects of the Modi regime would be the digitization of the economy. It began with Aadhar. This was followed by the Jan Dhan Accounts, and finally cheap internet connections for hundreds of millions of Indians. Prime Minister Modi recently told an Indian diaspora in Japan that India’s share in the global digital transactions is 40 per cent—the highest in the world. There is no surprise that QR codes are available even with gol-gappa vendors or vegetable vendors. This was unimaginable a few years back.”
