Over the past few years, the firm has worked closely with founders and businesses across sectors such as AI, fintech, e-commerce, energy, FMCG, gaming, and deep tech. As a focused and specialised team, Nilaya Legal often advises companies from early fundraising discussions through to complex strategic transactions.
This role is ideal for lawyers who enjoy working with fast-moving startups and ambitious founders, and who want to contribute beyond routine transactional work by understanding the broader business context.
Position Details
• Role: Associate
• Experience: 1–3 years PQE
• Location: Mumbai
• Practice Areas: Corporate & Commercial / Venture Capital
Candidate Profile
• 1–3 years PQE with exposure to venture capital investments, M&A, or joint venture transactions
• Strong understanding of corporate laws, FEMA, RBI regulations, and data privacy frameworks
• Prior exposure to startups or venture-backed companies will be an advantage
