1. The FIR No. 15 of 2025 dated 11.03.2025 has come to be registered
with the Police Station Boniyar, district Baramulla for alleged
commission of offence under section 140 (Kidnapping/Abduction in
order to murder or ransom) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)
2023.
2. The said FIR has been lodged by the Police Station Boniyar acting
upon a written docket of ASI Abdul Ahad No. 81/B with respect to
search of Mst. Shafeeqa Bashir-respondent No. 2 who is the
daughter of the respondent No. 3-Shabir Ahmad Mir.
3. The respondent No. 2-Mst. Shafeeqa Bashir is said to be the wife of
the petitioner and the matrimonial relationship between the two is
said to have fallen apart resulting in litigation between the two, one
filed by the respondent No.2 -Shafeeqa Bashir under the Protection
of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and the other one
filed by the petitioner against the respondent No.2 for restitution of
conjugal rights.
