Vikrant Massey stirred the internet with his recent Instagram post, hinting at retirement from his acting career at the age of 37. Many celebrities and fans reacted to his shocking decision, and now his ‘Haseen Dillruba‘ co-star Harshvardhan Rane has called the statement a “PR activity“.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Harshvardhan Rane discussed Vikrant Massey’s decision to quit acting at such a young age. Rane praised Massey’s clarity, work ethic, and dedication, particularly during the shoot of ‘Haseen Dillruba’. He expressed that he hopes Vikrant would make a comeback, similar to Aamir Khan‘s temporary break from cinema, and emphasised the importance of talented artists like him in Indian cinema. “I’m praying this is just some PR activity forced on him by some filmmaker,” he shared.
Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane shared the screen in the Netflix film ‘Haseen Dillruba’ alongside Taapsee Pannu. The sequel to the film was released earlier this year due to the overwhelming acceptance of the prequel.
